This role will act as technical lead during project delivery in the region as well as Manage our local QA team from our Brazil office .
What will be your responsibilities? Manage the work program for strategic QA processes improvement initiatives.Manage a QA team in terms work program planning and project assignments (WFM).Create/Review Test Strategy and Master Test Plans and other Documents for all projects in the work program.Responsible for coaching, mentoring, training and day to day interaction with a team of QA professionals (leads, testers, automation experts, planners)Institutionalize the best QA practices.Establish and manage governance associated with QA activities on all projects.Establish and drive tactical and strategic QA plans and initiatives.Interface with the development and maintenance teams (e.g.
management, PMs, development leads, vendors)Research leading QA practices and technology.Determine and utilize automation technology and processes to optimize costs.Provide test progress status/reports to management and executives.Ability to understand multi culture, Onsite/Offshore, Multi Vendor scenario.What skills and experience will you need for this role?Minimum 8 years of solid experience with QA background: testing types, methodologies, QA metrics.Strong communication background in QA area:direct work with the clients and top managementability to present and explainhandling escalationsfluent EnglishProject delivery experience with different methodologies Agile/scrum, waterfall as well as SDLC process understanding.Resource management experience: testing team/department management, hiring experience.Candidate should be hands on and not just resource manager but also should be able to support project deliveries, doing tests, produce test report, handling escalations, etc.Hands on experience to be checked during interviews.Test Automation experience nice to have.Telco experience a big plus.Availability to work from the office in Hybrid mode.
