Job Title: Network Security Engineer

Location: Hybrid (2 days onsite/Week)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Engineer to join our team and protect our large enterprise network. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, deploying, and managing network security solutions, with a focus on firewall/IPS and SASE/SSE technologies. You will be tasked with ensuring the security and integrity of our network infrastructures, particularly within enterprise and manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• implement, and manage Network Security Solutions, including Firewall/IPS (e.g., Cisco ASA/FT), SASE, and SSE (e.g., Zscaler).
• and enforce central security policies using tools such as ISE/Clearpass.
• network segmentation and establish firewall rules that cater to the needs of enterprise customers and manufacturing setups.
• technical leadership and guidance for network security automation, scripting, and API integration.
• network security solutions and designs to peers, engineers, and network leadership.
• publish, and maintain network security designs and standards.
• the security of network communications through advanced understanding and implementation of network security protocols.
• closely with cloud providers (AWS, AZR) to leverage the latest cloud networking solutions.
• hands-on experience with WAN/LAN/WLAN network products, services, and solutions, including but not limited to SD-WAN, SD-Branch, and SD-Access.
• and configure network tools such as DNAC, CVP, Meraki Dashboard, vManage, LogicMonitor, Syslog, FMC, Thousand Eyes.
• update network security product portfolios and implementation requirements for proper sizing and functionality.
• exceptional customer service through effective communication, problem-solving, and prioritization in high-pressure environments.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• years in a large enterprise network support role with a strong understanding of network infrastructure.
• years of success in designing, deploying, and managing Network Security Solutions (Firewall/IPS, SASE/SSE).
• years in designing network segmentation and firewall rules for enterprise and manufacturing clients.
• interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
• with a keen attention to detail and a customer service orientation.

analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• degree in STEM field is required, with a preference for advanced certifications.
• AWS Advanced Networking, AWS Solution Architect Certified Professional, Azure Associate/Professional certifications are highly desirable.
• Certified DevNet Associate or equivalent experience.
• with F5 load balancers, network protocols (OMP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), and spanning-tree.
• with a variety of network hardware and software manufacturers (Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Juniper, Fortinet, Zscaler, F5).
• years in network security automation with experience in Python, Terraform, Ansible, and Restful API.
• knowledge of network security providers and industrial/manufacturing/warehouse network and IoT.
