About the role:

As a Planning Presales Manager (functional/business), you’ll have experience in sales and delivery and have successfully led in-depth functional/business discussions and presentations with client executives and IT Management. The primary goal within the sales cycle is for you to understand the prospect/client’s business, its strategy, processes, and challenges, defining the best way our solution would fit in to guarantee the success of the digital transformation. You will be the expert and trusted advisor when it comes to our platform functional demonstrations (business capabilities) and C-level discovery sessions (understand the problem client is facing) and are responsible for leading the platform demonstration from start to finish.


What you’ll do for us...

  • Present the o9 platform through storytelling and positioning of o9 Solutions as a trusted business partner that will elevate the business’ current practices and create efficiencies in complex user cases
  • Create and execute specific demonstrations and proof of concepts using o9 platform
  • Utilize industry demos as a starting point and create desired incremental workflows in the o9 platform, as per the specific customer and industry needs
  • Participate in client discovery sessions to better understand client challenges, bottlenecks and value leakage analysis to tailor demo to complex and targeted scenarios
  • Partner with the industry solution and account executive team to better understand and talk to the industry and target company challenges inside-out
  • Exercise creativity and business acumen in designing practical solutions to meet client needs
  • Work with global sales and manage the RFP creation/discovery/platform demonstration building process in light of the strategic priorities
  • Use and modify existing business impact and profitability models to construct ROI message in proposals (create business case)
  • Ensure a strong technical fit in the SaaS and technical offerings to the client’s analytical needs
  • Document and transition deal knowledge to help ensure a successful transition to the implementation team for all winning proposals


Hard skill’s needed for this position (Required)

  • Fluent in Business English (Required) and Fluent in Business Spanish (Required) - Platform demonstrations will be performed in Portuguese, English and Spanish. Need proven communication skills in 3 languages.
  • Bachelor’s degree (Required)
  • 8+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, E2E Planning, S&OP/IBP Planning (Required)
  • Proven experience in supply chain planning process & enterprise planning applications is a must (Required)
  • Ability to demonstrate thought leadership and develop credibility with prospects as an expert in the area of E2E planning (Required)
  • Strong ability to lead by example and demonstrate proficiency in both product (o9 platform) and E2E Planning Processes (Required)
  • Excellent domain knowledge combined with excellent storytelling skills (Required)
  • Strong listening abilities with the ability to read through the lines and understand the true concerns of clients and prospects (Required)
  • Proactive and innovative with experience in preparing platform demonstrations (demos), C-Level presentations, and tailored responses to follow-up questions (Required)
  • Customer empathy and business acumen with excellent communication skills (Required)
  • Executive presence and ability to communicate well and make an impact with senior executives and decision makers (Required)
  • Self-starter with passion, energy, willingness to learn, and an entrepreneurial mindset (Required)


Skill’s preferred for this position (Preferred/Additional)

  • Master’s degree (Preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in functional presales capacity - not technical pre-sales - (Preferred)
  • Expertise in supply planning optimization (Preferred)
