You ll be part of a remote team working closely with a tech lead, product owner, and UX designer to deliver a seamless real-time communication experience.This is a hands-on role where clean code, user experience, and integration with existing systems are critical.
The backend and architecture are already defined, and we ll work on top of them.You ll also collaborate with internal and client-side teams to ensure high quality and alignment throughout the development process.What You ll DoDevelop and maintain frontend features for a real-time chat platformBuild reusable, scalable, and testable componentsIntegrate with existing backend systems and APIsCollaborate closely with UX/UI designers to ensure a high-quality user experienceWork with Pubnub (or similar) for real-time messaging and stream featuresEnsure cross-platform compatibility and responsiveness (platform-agnostic solution)Participate in code reviews, planning sessions, and agile ceremoniesWork closely with a tech lead and follow architectural guidelines already in placeMust-Have SkillsStrong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and modern frameworks like ReactSolid backend knowledge with Node.js, Express, or similarExperience integrating APIs and working in service-based architecturesUnderstanding of real-time data streaming (Pubnub, WebSockets, etc.)Familiarity with PostgreSQL or other relational databasesDeep focus on UX, performance, and clean UI implementationGit, CI/CD, and agile methodologiesExcellent communication and collaboration skills (soft skills matter here )Strong communication skills in English written and spokenNice to HaveExperience working on chat, messaging, or collaboration platformsFamiliarity with Snowflake or data pipeline integration (for later collaboration)Background in platform-agnostic solutions (e.g.
