Backgammon Galaxy Lead Elixir Developer Job DescriptionWe are Backgammon Galaxy (backgammongalaxy.com) a web-based and mobile app platform for playing Backgammon.
We have a community of 125,000 users and we have an ambition to grow significantly.
We have existed for four years, and our tech team works asynchronously and following modern Software development methodologies.We are looking for an Elixir Developer to join our team in a full-time position.
Our company is based in Cyprus, but all team members work remotely and follow CET work hours.
Resposibilities* Design and develop new features using Elixir* Design and implement the future gaming platform using Elixir* Develop systems that are scalable and fault tolerance* Write High quality and Testable Code* Coach other members of the team to follow good practices* Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in modern software engineering Required skills and qualifications* MSc/BSc s STEM degree or extensive IT experience* Elixir, OTP and PhoenixFramework* Git* Proactivity and capacity for working autonomously* Experience working remotely* Good communication skills* Distributed Systems experience* Networking: http, grpc, tcp, amqp* Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB* Messaging Systems: RabbitMQ* CI/CD Preferred skills and qualifications* Erlang* Cloud* Kubernetes* Docker* Metrics* Machine Learning: Nx and AxonNo agencies.
