Our unparalleled ability to cater for local-market customisation and operator preferences provides players with an optimal betting experience, resulting in proven growth for our rapidly expanding customer base.Where you Fit In:As an Engineering Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of talented developers, overseeing the development and maintenance of our Java-based gaming platform.
You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, architects and other stakeholders to ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.
Your role will involve a combination of hands-on development, technical leadership, and strategic planning.The impact you will have:Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of developers.Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of our Java-based gaming platform.Ensure adherence to best practices in coding, architecture, and security.Review and approve code changes, ensuring high standards of quality and performance.Collaborate with product managers and product owners to define projectrequirements, timelines, and deliverables.Create and manage project plans, ensuring timely delivery of features andenhancements.Monitor progress and address any issues or roadblocks proactively.Collaborate with architects to drive architectural decisions for the platform, ensuring scalability and reliability.Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance the development process.Ensure the system design aligns with business goals and technical requirements.Work closely with your team and other cross-functional teams, including designers, QA, and operations, to deliver high-quality products.Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and technical challenges.Advocate for technical excellence and continuous improvement within the team.Participate in coding activities, especially for complex or critical components.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.Ensure the team adheres to coding standards and follows established processes.What we re looking for:Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Proven experience as a Team Lead in a similar role.Extensive experience with Java and related technologiesStrong understanding of software development principles and best practices.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience with Java MVC frameworks (J2EE, Spring Boot, Micronaut)Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes).Understanding of database management (SQL, NoSQL).What we offer you:Full-time employment under Brazilian CLT contract with competitive salaryFlexible work environment with plenty of learning and growth opportunitiesPorto Seguro OuroMax Health PlanFlash Card for meals and groceries R$ 1200/monthPorto Seguro Bronze 10 Dental PlanMetLife Life InsuranceBirthday day-offAccess to O Reilly Online Learning PlatformSportingtech is an equal opportunity employer.
