This role is ideal for someone with strong full stack engineering skills who enjoys working on operational SaaS systems and keeping them secure, performant, and well-documented.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform ongoing maintenance and support for a Java-based application running in a production AWS environment.Build and maintain deployment pipelinesInvestigate and resolve production issues, including performance bottlenecks, service failures, and unexpected behavior.Implement monitoring system like Sentry, or AWS CloudWatch; respond to incidents and alerts.Maintain and improve AWS resources including Lambda functions, RDS databases, EC2 instances, and S3 buckets.Refactor legacy code to improve performance, readability, and maintainability.Write scripts and automate repetitive tasks related to system upkeep and deployments.Document maintenance procedures, architecture diagrams, and troubleshooting playbooks.Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize and address technical debt, bug fixes, and small feature enhancements.Required Qualifications5+ years of experience with Java, including working with Spring or similar frameworks.Solid experience working with AWS services, especially Lambda, RDS, EC2, and S3.Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in distributed systems.Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform) and CI/CD workflows.Experience maintaining relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL or MySQL).Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.Excellent written documentation and communication skills.Nice to HaveFamiliarity with monitoring and logging tools like CloudWatch, Sentry, or similar.Experience working in a regulated or compliance-focused environment (e.g., healthcare, finance).Basic front-end knowledge (e.g., JavaScript/HTML) to support minor UI maintenance, if needed.Why Join UsWork with a stable and mature platform with real-world impact.Opportunity to shape technical processes and documentation from the ground up.Flexible work environment with a collaborative and experienced team.
