In ShortArke is searching for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer in Brazil.
The key focus of the QA Engineer is to develop a quality process focused across multiple projects.
The QA Engineer will collaborate closely and work in a cross-functional team to deliver digital transformation by using nonconventional thinking to get into the mindset of how product owners and end users view the product.What You ll Be DoingThe QA Engineer is responsible for Quality Assurance Testing, User Acceptance Testing, scheduling, coordinating and management of releases across different product categories.
These releases can include product feature updates, bug fixes, new feature enhancements, and all other aspects introduced to the product line.
This role is also responsible for quality review of various applications and includes creating test plans and strategy, test cases in partnership with developers, business analysts and project managers which are used to shape and verify code and check conformance to business and system requirements.
The role relies upon manual testing tools and test automation as a new process within Arke.What We d Love to See3+ years quality assurance/manual testing experience on public facing web applications (desktop, tablet and mobile)3+ years of web project experience2+ years of automated testing experience (Cypress or Selenium)2+ years of API testing experience (Swagger, Postman, or automated)Previous release management experienceAbility to work within an Agile or Waterfall environment, including writing or assisting with story creation and acceptance criteriaAble to exercise independent judgment and act on itExperience using Office 365, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio (or other diagramming tool like Miro)Experience managing project requirements/test results within Agile tools (i.e., Jira or Azure DevOps)Preferred experience using test tools, including BrowserStack or LambdaTestPreferred experience with testing on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Content Management Systems (CMS) systems both from the user side and admin sideADA & WCAG Compliance testing experience preferredPreferred proven experience writing automated test scripts for functional and integration testingKnowledge of JavaScript, CSS, HTML, Front-end Frameworks (i.e., Next JS and React) preferredSoft SkillsAble to exercise independent judgment and act on itExcellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skillsLogical and efficient, with keen attention to detailHighly self-motivated and directedAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressureStrong customer service orientationExperience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentAbility to maintain positive and productive working relationships with stakeholders, peers, and leadershipNice To HaveBachelor s degree from an accredited college/university, with a preferred concentration in Business, Management Information Systems, or Accounting.Who We AreArke is a full-service experience design and technology consultancy that believes in providing more much more.
