Learn more at PrivacyHawk.com.About the RoleAs a Senior Fullstack Engineer at PrivacyHawk, you ll lead and build core systems across both frontend and backend, spanning our mobile apps, web applications, backend infrastructure, and privacy automation engines.You ll collaborate closely with QA, design, product, and backend teams to deliver highly scalable, secure, and user-friendly experiences.
This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in owning end-to-end solutions, architecting resilient systems, and writing production-quality code across the stack.Key ResponsibilitiesLead development of full-stack features across web and mobile platforms.Build and maintain scalable backend microservices powering privacy automations.Architect and secure API endpoints and integrations with 3rd party services.Translate UI/UX designs into highly functional React Native & web apps.Design and optimize database queries (MongoDB, Firestore).Maintain robust unit and integration test coverage across the stack.Optimize performance, reliability, and scalability.Collaborate cross-functionally with QA, product, design, and data teams.Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical leadership.Core TechnologiesNode.js, TypeScript, NestJSReact Native, React, NextJS, GatsbyMongoDB, Firebase/FirestoreGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP), Google Cloud FunctionsDocker, KubernetesREST APIs, WebSockets, GraphQL (optional)CI/CD pipelines, GitHub workflowsPostman, SwaggerJest (unit & integration testing)QualificationsRequired (5+ years):Strong proficiency in both frontend (React, React Native, TypeScript) and backend (Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript) development.Experience designing and building scalable distributed systems.Solid experience with cloud infrastructure, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Expertise in building secure, high-performance REST APIs and integrations.Strong database experience with MongoDB and Firebase/Firestore.Unit testing and CI/CD pipelines experience (Jest, GitHub workflows).Strong understanding of security best practices and data privacy principles.Preferred (3+ years):Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture.Experience integrating 3rd-party APIs and event-driven systems.Background working in startups or fast-paced environments.Experience with performance monitoring, error tracking, and optimization tools.Bonus (1+ years):Familiarity with Machine Learning, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), WebSockets, and GraphQL.Experience with privacy tech, security engineering, or compliance frameworks.Experience deploying automated testing and deployment pipelines.Compensation & Perks:Healthcare Stipend: Financial support for your medical/insurance expenses.Unlimited PTO: Flexible vacation as long as responsibilities and goals are consistently met.Stock Options: Share directly in our company s growth.Remote Work: Fully remote role with professional autonomy and mentorship.Professional Development: Opportunity to grow in a high-impact role with a supportive team.
