The LQA Tester will be responsible for ensuring the localization quality of our games by identifying linguistic and cultural issues, conducting linguistic testing, and providing feedback for improvements.
Daily task will entail reviewing and proofreading all translated text for spelling, grammar, punctuation and linguistic fluency, maintaining consistency in terminology for game mechanics, in-game items, storyline, etc.
and verifying that text fits properly in the interface and adjusting for language expansion or contraction.
This is a hybrid role located in São Paulo, SP, with some work-from-home flexibility.QualificationsStrong proficiency in linguistic quality assurance, localization testing, and cultural sensitivityExperience with identifying and resolving linguistic issues in game contentDetail-oriented with excellent proofreading and editing skillsEffective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teamsProficiency in Spanish is a mustProficiency in Portuguese is requiredFamiliarity with gaming industry standards and trendsAbility to work independently and manage time effectively in a hybrid work environmentBachelor s degree in Linguistics, Translation, or a related field is preferredWork Type: HybridPay: Up to USD 1,500 (BRL 8,200)
