Full-Stack Django Developer - 3 month daily rate contractMy client are currently on the lookout for an experienced Full-Stack Django Developer to support the lead developer on two key projects:This is a full remote working role.Project 1: Euro Currency IntegrationEnable support for Euros alongside GBP across the site, including display, selection, and transaction handling.Project 2: Gamification SystemBuild a modular quest and leveling system with:Multi-step questsXP-based progression and level rewardsPer-user state trackingAdmin interface for managing quests and reviewing progressCollaboration & WorkflowThis is a hands-on, team-focused role.You ll be expected to collaborate closely with the lead developer, join daily stand-ups and communicate actively to resolve blockers and share updatesRequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience using Django on front and back end.AI AutomationDjango models, querysets, views, templatesJavaScript fetch and DOM manipulationTailwind CSS or basic CSSmacOS is preferred for remote working.
However, candidates with experience setting up and running Django with Docker on Windows or Linux will be consideredDocker for local developmentJavaScript tooling (npm, Webpack)Tech StackPython, Django (models, views, templates, context)Django Templates, Vanilla JavaScript, HTMLTailwind CSS preferred (vanilla CSS also used)Docker, Node/npm (for assets and dev workflow)GitHub, daily collaboration with tech leadAWS experienceUse of AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT)
