Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Director for our automotive and motorcycle parts division in the Brazilian market.
This role is responsible for driving business growth, developing distribution channels, and building a high-performing local team.
You will lead our go-to-market strategy in Brazil, establish a localized sales network, integrate supply chain resources, and accelerate our expansion across South America.Key Responsibilities:1.
Market Strategy & Business DevelopmentDevelop and implement sales strategies tailored to the Brazilian market, covering OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers), aftermarket channels (distributors, repair shops, e-commerce), and wholesalers.Analyze market trends in Brazil s automotive and motorcycle parts sectors to identify growth opportunities and optimize the product portfolio for local needs.Establish and maintain relationships with key clients including OEM, major distributors, repair chain operators, and e-commerce platforms.2.
Channel Development & ManagementBuild and manage a local sales team and dealer network; design and implement channel incentive programs.Expand into emerging channels such as e-commerce platforms (e.g., Mercado Livre, Amazon Brazil).Collaborate with local industry associations, trade shows, and media outlets to enhance brand visibility.3.
Supply Chain & Operations CoordinationCoordinate with the China headquarters and local supply chain teams to optimize inventory and logistics efficiency.Liaise with upstream suppliers to ensure product compliance with Brazilian certification standards (e.g., INMETRO).4.
Team Management & Performance DeliveryRecruit, develop, and lead a local sales team; establish KPI-based performance evaluation systems.Provide regular updates to headquarters on market dynamics and sales performance to ensure goal alignment.Qualifications:1.
Basic RequirementsBachelor s degree or above, preferably in Marketing, International Trade, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.10+ years of experience in the automotive/motorcycle parts industry, with at least 5 years in sales leadership roles within the Brazilian market.Fluent in Portuguese and English (Mandarin is a plus but not required).2.
Industry ExperienceDeep understanding of the Brazilian auto/moto parts market landscape, with a network of OEM, distributors, or repair chain contacts.Experience in supply chain management, including knowledge of import procedures, certification, and local tax regulations.Familiarity with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Mercado Livre, AutoZap) is a strong advantage.3.
Personal CompetenciesExcellent business negotiation skills with a proven track record of independently developing markets.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment; experienced in managing cross-cultural teams.Willingness to travel frequently within Brazil.
