You will be working as part of a Scrum team, collaborating closely with software developers, product managers, and fellow QA engineers.
This position requires availability aligned with US time zones.
Your input will play a critical role in shaping and ensuring the quality of mobile applications in production, both for Android and iOS platforms.Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for mobile applications (Android and iOS)Develop and execute mobile test automation scripts using AppiumPerform manual and exploratory testing to validate mobile functionality, usability, and performanceDevelop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on product requirementsAnalyze test results and collaborate with developers to identify and resolve issuesMaintain and improve CI/CD testing pipelines for mobileEnsure mobile apps meet high standards of quality, reliability, and responsivenessParticipate in Scrum meetings and contribute to product quality from early development stagesMinimum Qualifications:Advanced level of written and oral English proficiency3+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on mobile application testingProven hands-on experience with Appium for mobile test automationStrong understanding of Android and iOS app testing practicesExperience with scripting/programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or JavaFamiliarity with mobile CI/CD tools (e.g., Bitrise, Firebase, GitHub Actions)Comfortable with tools like JIRA, GitHub, PostmanSolid understanding of QA methodologies and Agile development principlesPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Playwright, Selenium, or other automation frameworksExposure to backend/API testingISTQB or other QA certificationBenefits:Yearly Office Allowance BudgetMacBook Purchase SupportWellbeing SupportIf you are a good fit for the position, please apply through LinkedIn.We only accept CVs that are in English.Flatiron has a zero tolerance to discrimination policy.
