Job Title: Java Developer NoSQL (MongoDB/DynamoDB)Location: Remote (Brazil)Employment Type: Contract (6-12 months, potential to extend)Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with hands-on experience working with NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB and/or Amazon DynamoDB, to join our growing team.
You will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend services, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing query performance across distributed systems.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using Java (Spring Boot preferred)Design, implement, and optimize NoSQL data models using MongoDB and DynamoDBWork closely with DevOps and Data Engineering teams to manage schema migrations, performance tuning, and data access layersEnsure system scalability, reliability, and security across microservices architectureWrite clean, maintainable code and conduct code reviewsCollaborate with cross-functional teams including QA, Product Management, and UI/UXRequired Skills & Qualifications:5+ years of backend development experience using JavaStrong experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB and/or DynamoDB)Proficiency with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and microservices architectureFamiliarity with AWS Cloud Services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, S3, CloudWatch)Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes)Excellent understanding of data modeling in NoSQL environmentsStrong debugging, performance profiling, and optimization skillsGood communication skills in English (B2 or higher)Nice to Have:Experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka or Amazon SNS/SQSFamiliarity with MongoDB Atlas or DynamoDB StreamsKnowledge of Java 17+ featuresExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments
