Confidential Company is looking for a SR Cloud Engineer.What you will do:Design, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure solutions on GCP.Manage and optimize cloud resources for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.Implement and enforce cloud security best practices to ensure data protection and compliance.Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment of applications and infrastructure.Automate cloud resource management and operational processes using scripting and automation tools.Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability and high availability.Collaborate with data engineers and other stakeholders to integrate cloud services seamlessly.Provide technical guidance and support on cloud architecture, best practices, and new technologies.Design and implement disaster recovery and backup strategies for critical cloud infrastructure.Document cloud architecture, processes, and procedures to support ongoing operations.Continuously evaluate and adopt new cloud technologies to improve infrastructure and processes.What we are looking for:Advanced/Fluent English for conversation.Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Great experience in cloud engineering or cloud architecture, with a focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Expertise in GCP services, including Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, and Cloud Functions.Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Cloud Deployment Manager.Proficiency in automation and scripting languages such as Python or Bash.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.Deep understanding of cloud security practices, including identity and access management (IAM) and encryption.Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Stackdriver, Prometheus, or Grafana.Knowledge of networking concepts in a cloud environment, including VPC, load balancing, and DNS.Proven ability to optimize and troubleshoot complex cloud infrastructure issues.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.Where you will work:This is a 100% remote position.Employment type: Cooperado;PJ.
