We re creating the digital factory pipeline --- and we need someone to help automate the final mile: machining.Your RoleWe re seeking a CAM Developer to help automate the transition from parametric CAD outputs into machine-specific formats.
You ll work closely with our product and development teams to ensure that designs configured online can be fabricated efficiently and accurately with minimal manual programming.
You ll develop intelligent toolpath workflows, reduce manual programming, and contribute to the digitization of our manufacturing process.What You ll DoDevelop CAM automation logic for producing files like DXF, G-code, BTL, or STEP directly from design data.Script or build macros in tools like Fusion 360, RhinoCAM, WoodWOP, or other CAM environments to automate toolpath generation.Build repeatable output workflows based on cabinet component types (e.g., panels, carcasses, drawers).Collaborate with CAD and backend teams to ensure seamless CAD CAM translation.Create logic for material, tooling, and machine constraints.Experience LevelsMid-Level (3-6 years experience)Proficiency in Fusion 360, RhinoCAM, WoodWOP, or equivalentExperience with CAM for cabinetry or furniture manufacturing (CNC routers, nesting, etc.)Basic scripting/macro development experience (Python, JavaScript, Post Processors)Understanding of cabinetry construction and machining logicSenior Level (6+ years experience)Advanced expertise in cabinetry/furniture CNC operationsProven track record automating complex CAM workflowsExperience with cabinet design software like Cabinet Vision, TopSolid, or similarLeadership experience in manufacturing technology implementationDeep understanding of joinery, tooling offsets, and production optimizationBonus ExperienceExperience with cabinet design software like Cabinet Vision, TopSolid, or similarKnowledge of lean manufacturing principlesExperience working with furniture manufacturersWhy You ll Love ThisDirectly influence how digital designs become physical products.Help streamline manufacturing for a traditionally slow and manual industry.Be part of a growing, well-positioned startup in a high-impact niche.Competitive compensation with opportunity to shape the future of manufacturing automation.
