From front-end visualization to back-end automation, we close the loop.Your RoleWe re looking for a Backend Developer who can connect the dots between configurators, pricing logic, CAD automation, and production.
You ll work closely with our tech and product teams to build scalable backend systems that power both customer experiences and factory-ready outputs.
You ll be building custom APIs, extending Grasshopper functionality, and creating internal tools to connect CAD processes with real-world applications --- from automation to manufacturing.What You ll DoBuild and maintain APIs that connect web-based configurators, pricing engines, and CAD/CAM outputs.Integrate backend logic with CNC machining formats (e.g., DXF, STEP, G-code, BTL).Develop custom modules to bridge front-end design selections with production logic.Extend our use of Grasshopper, RhinoCommon, or other CAD APIs using Python or C .Help maintain cloud services that handle quote generation, order processing, and parametric file creation.Experience LevelsMid-Level (3-6 years experience)Strong proficiency in Python and C (especially helpful for Grasshopper or Rhino SDK)Experience building and consuming REST APIs in production environmentsFamiliarity with parametric CAD, CPQ systems, or CAD-to-CAM workflows preferredSenior Level (6+ years experience)Advanced expertise in backend architecture and system designProven experience with Grasshopper & CAD integrationsLeadership experience mentoring junior developersDeep understanding of manufacturing workflows and automationBonus ExperienceExperience in the cabinetry, furniture, or interior design tech spaceKnowledge of manufacturing processes and CNC workflowsLove of MathWhy You ll Love ThisYou ll shape a platform that directly impacts manufacturing businesses across North America.Be part of a tech-driven team rethinking how custom interiors are designed and made.See your work translate directly into manufactured reality.Competitive compensation with global remote opportunities.
