Job Title: Partner Onboarding Implementation EngineerLocation: Remote in BrazilEmployment Type: Full-TimeExperience Level: Mid-Level (3+ Years)About the Role:We are seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented Partner Onboarding Implementation Engineer to play a critical role in onboarding new distribution partners into our digital content supply chain.
This role is ideal for someone with a blend of technical implementation experience, foundational video engineering knowledge, and light coding skills.
You will be instrumental in ensuring a smooth and timely onboarding process, catalog fulfillment, and launch support across media workflows.Key Responsibilities:1.
Specification Analysis & Negotiation SupportWork alongside Technical Account Managers to gather and analyze partner delivery specifications.Document partner requirements and identify any feature gaps.Coordinate with internal engineering teams to align supply chain readiness for partner needs.2.
New Partner Onboarding ImplementationManage concurrent onboarding projects with multiple external partners.Own and execute the technical implementation of partner configurations within the content supply chain.Write, maintain, and run scripts (e.g., Python) for automation, data transformation, and validations.Develop and execute unit/regression test cases and validate delivery samples.Oversee transition of partners into production environments based on project timelines.3.
Launch SupportMonitor launch progress and catalog fulfillment activities to ensure successful partner integration.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to metadata, file delivery, and workflow execution.4.
Process OptimizationIdentify and resolve inefficiencies within onboarding workflows and tooling.Contribute to internal documentation and support continuous improvement of onboarding processes.Basic Qualifications:3+ years of experience in a technical onboarding, implementation, or technical support role.Understanding of video formats and technologies: H.264, HEVC, Dolby Vision, etc.Working knowledge of media concepts: codecs, bitrates, file formats (e.g., MP4, MXF, WAV).Familiarity with metadata standards such as MovieLabs, CableLabs, or similar XML/JSON-based specifications.Experience referencing or writing technical documentation for media delivery workflows.Basic programming or scripting experience (e.g., Python, Java).Ability to write and debug SQL/NoSQL queries for validation or reporting.Familiarity with REST APIs and data formats like YAML, JSON, XML.Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly document processes and interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple onboarding projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with media asset management systems or digital content delivery platforms.Exposure to media supply chain tools, automation frameworks, or video processing systems.Background in working with CI/CD environments and technical testing workflows.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver under tight deadlines.
