Back-End Software Engineer (Python / TypeScript / JavaScript)We are looking for a remote, full-time Back-End Software Engineer with 3+ years of experience in developing integration solutions with Python and JavaScript/TypeScript to join the development team of our U.S.
client.
You will design, build, and deliver the best financial software on the planet Our client is a fintech company that provides commodities managers with task automation and timely insights on their trades, including risk exposure, positions, and profits and losses.
With over 5 million trades on its SaaS platform, the company is an award-winning industry leader that counts some of the world s largest financial firms as customers.

ResponsibilitiesUtilize Prismatic, Workato, Temporal, or similar tools (single tool to be chosen) to build and deploy integration interfacesUtilize AI tooling, such as Cursor and CodeRabbit, to accelerate software developmentReview, interpret, and respond to detailed business requirementsCollaborate with development and services team to ensure successful integration solution implementationsThoroughly conduct testing and troubleshooting to guarantee data accuracy and integration reliabilityServe as a technical liaison with customers and data providers, gathering and analyzing integration requirementsEnsure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality integration solutions and promptly addressing issuesDrive integration projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and successful deliveryCoordinate with internal and external stakeholders, managing expectations and deliverablesProvide project progress as well as identify and mitigate risks and issuesCreate and maintain detailed documentation of integration processes, solutions, and best practicesProvide training and support on the use of integration tools and methodologiesBe a source for continuous innovation, facilitating rapid time-to-market delivery and competitive advantage.Required ExperienceExcellent English communication and teamwork skills3+ years of experience designing and implementing integration solutionsStrong Python and JavaScript/TypeScript coding experienceProficient in the use of AI tooling, such as Cursor and GitHub CoPilotExperience with integration platforms, such as Prismatic, Workato, or Temporal, ETL / ELT, or APIsStrong understanding of web services, JSON, and data integration methodologiesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detailExperience effectively troubleshooting complex integration issuesAbility to interact effectively with customers and data providers, understanding their needs and translating them into technical requirementsA self-disciplined, task-oriented approach to development, testing, and code structureDesire to work in an environment that:Embraces diversityMaintains a client-centric approach to building productsStrives to maintain a world-class organizationLoves technologyGives back to the communityProven ability to stay self-motivated, work hard, own problems from start to finish, and bring order from chaosDemonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a broader team.Trustworthy, team-oriented, transparent, and funPreferred ExperienceUniversity degree in Computer Science, a related field of study, or equivalent experienceExperience in finance and/or energy, commodities, or equity tradingExperience with enterprise-grade software and highly secure, multi-tenant SaaS solutionsAdditional InformationKnow that your ideas are heard and matter think big Own your job and be recognized for your contributionsWork with smart, creative peopleMaking mistakes is human.
