This role will be hands-on in maintaining and scaling a growing codebase while building new features used by thousands of health and wellness practitioners and clients.Tech Stack OverviewBackend: Python 3, Django 5.1, Django CMS 4.1, MySQL 5.7Frontend: JavaScript, HTML/CSS, Tailwind (Next.js experience helpful)Payments: Stripe APICloud & DevOps: AWS (Lambda, S3, ElastiCache, Elastic Beanstalk), Azure DevOps (CI/CD)Integrations: Google Calendar, Customer.io, CRM systemsTools: Git, Docker, Azure PipelinesKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain Django-based backend services and Django CMS pluginsImplement and manage Stripe payment flows (including subscriptions and invoicing)Develop and maintain customer-facing booking, scheduling, and product modulesWork on serverless features using AWS LambdaMaintain integrations with external services (Google Calendar, CRM tools)Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and architectural discussionsRequirements Must-Have:4-6+ years of experience in Python and DjangoSolid experience with Django CMS and plugin developmentExperience with Stripe API integrationStrong SQL skills (MySQL preferred)Experience deploying to AWS (especially Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, S3)Familiarity with CI/CD using Azure DevOps or similar toolsComfortable working in a fully remote team across time zonesNice-to-Have:Experience with Google Calendar APIFamiliarity with Customer.io or HubSpot CRMExposure to serverless architecture and AWS ElastiCacheFrontend experience with JavaScript, Tailwind, or ReactExperience in wellness, healthcare, or marketplace platformsHow to ApplySubmit your resume and GitHub/portfolio to careers sofiahealth.com with the subject line:Full Stack Engineer Django CMS [Your Name]
