This platform supports industry leaders such as Pfizer, Moderna, and Novartis in developing innovative RNA-based solutions, leveraging data-driven research, cloud computing, and advanced AI capabilities.
This role offers a unique opportunity for an experienced data engineer to take the next step in their career, playing a key technical leadership role in the rapidly evolving world of AI-driven solutionsRequirements8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a proven track record of designing and delivering complex systems in production.Extensive experience building and maintaining serverless and cloud-native solutions in AWS, including production-grade monitoring, security, and cost optimization practices.Experience designing reliable, secure, and scalable data processing architectures both real-time (streaming) and batch including the underlying infrastructure.Strong ownership mindset, with the ability to work independently on large-scale projects, from discovery to delivery.Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to translate high-level business requirements into actionable technical work.Comfort working with limited supervision, proactively driving projects forward and seeking alignment with stakeholders when needed.Demonstrated ability to perform requirements analysis, break down complex systems, and challenge assumptions to ensure the right problems are being solved.Technical SkillsExpert-level proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, with a strong focus on building robust, testable backend services and APIs.Knowledge of Python, and willingness to deepen Python expertise for data processing and machine learning workflows.Deep understanding of AWS Serverless services, particularly Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, EventBridge, SQS, and SNS.Strong experience with infrastructure as code (IaC), preferably with AWS CloudFormation and CDK.
