We are looking for a technically adept and detail-oriented Partner Onboarding Implementation Engineer to support the integration of new distribution partners into our Content Distribution Supply Chain.
This role requires a blend of project coordination, light coding, and foundational video engineering knowledge to ensure seamless onboarding and catalog fulfillment through our supply chain.Key Responsibilities: Specification Analysis & Negotiation Supporto Collaborate with Technical Account Managers (TAMs) to understand and document partner specifications.o Identify feature gaps and align with internal engineering teams to ensure readiness for fulfillment.
New Partner Onboarding Implementationo Manage concurrent onboarding activities.o Own the technical implementation of partner setups in the supply chain.o Write and maintain basic scripts (e.g., Python) to support automation, validation, or data transformation tasks.o Develop unit test cases and execute regression test cases; coordinate sample validation and sign-off with partners.o Promote partners to production environments in alignment with TAM-led fulfillment plans.
Launch Supporto Monitor and support launch catalog fulfillment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.o Troubleshoot issues related to metadata, asset delivery, and workflow triggers.
Process Optimizationo Identify and resolve process inefficiencies to improve reliability and reduce disruptions.o Contribute to documentation and tooling improvements for onboarding workflows.Basic Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in technical onboarding, implementation, or support roles.
Familiarity with video standard specifications (e.g., H.264, HEVC, Dolby Vision).
Understanding of core media concepts like codec, bitrate, and common video/audio file formats (e.g., MP4, MXF, WAV).
Exposure to media metadata standards, such as MovieLabs, CableLabs, or similar schema-driven specifications.
Experience working with or referencing technical documentation related to video delivery and content workflows.
Basic scripting or coding experience (e.g., Python, Java).
Proficiency in writing SQL and NoSQL queries for data validation, reporting, or troubleshooting.
Understanding of content distribution workflows and media asset management systems.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.st workflows.
Familiarity with REST APIs and YAML/JSON/XML data formats.
