Job Title: Onboarding Implementation EngineerLocation: RemoteExperience: 5+ YearsAbout the Role: We are seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented Onboarding Implementation Engineer to facilitate the integration of new distribution partners into our Content Distribution Supply Chain.
This hybrid role combines light scripting, video engineering fundamentals, and project coordination to ensure smooth onboarding and catalog fulfillment.Key Responsibilities:Partner Integration & Technical CoordinationCollaborate with Technical Account Managers (TAMs) to document and analyze partner specifications.Identify system gaps and liaise with internal teams for feature alignment and readiness.Implementation & ScriptingManage multiple partner onboarding projects simultaneously.Configure technical setups and implement partner workflows.Write basic scripts (Python preferred) for automation, data validation, and transformation.Develop unit/regression tests and coordinate sample validation and approvals.Launch & SupportMonitor catalog deliveries during launch and troubleshoot metadata, asset, and workflow issues.Ensure timely and accurate production deployment as per fulfillment plans.Process Improvement & DocumentationIdentify inefficiencies and propose improvements to enhance onboarding reliability.Contribute to internal documentation and tooling for better scalability.Qualifications:3+ years in implementation, technical onboarding, or support roles.Familiarity with video encoding standards (H.264, HEVC, Dolby Vision) and media file formats (MP4, MXF, WAV).Basic scripting knowledge (e.g., Python, Java) and ability to write SQL/NoSQL queries.Experience with media metadata schemas (MovieLabs, CableLabs, etc.).Understanding of media workflows, content distribution, and asset management systems.Proficiency with REST APIs and structured data formats (YAML, JSON, XML).Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
